A lot to talk about this morning, which is strange to say because the game played by the 49ers was virtually identical to the other paltry performances so far this season. On offense, the 49ers were atrocious as per usual. I'm going to avoid picking apart the defensive struggles because all of the blunders on defense get magnified 10x greater because your offense is a dead carcass dragging you down/keeping you on the field. Coach Jimmy-T played the broken record again: all blame on him, gotta look at the tape, not going to get into personnel-issues right now. The photo below summarizes our inept coaching staff, quarterback and offense.
Kaepernick's Blunders
-Above is all of Torrey Smith's 8 million dollar, deep threat, speedy-ass, not covered. There is nobody in front of Smith, nobody. If this isn't a sign that Kaep needs to benched, I don't know what is but here's more of them.
-Kaepernick was 20-41, with 162yds. Kaep threw the ball 41 times and had 162 yards to show for it. His passes sailed high and skipped off the ground all day.
-Kaepernick’s 78.8 passer rating is one of the worst among starting quarterbacks.
-Here's the report surfacing from yesterday about what a couple of 49ers players think: Two 49ers players texted me (NFL Insider, Jason Cole) after that game and said that it is time for Colin Kaepernick to be benched. This game lost to the Rams was the tipping point for them in a series of events that have been building and building and building to this point. ... What these players say is they don't want Kaepernick to be out of the plans for the 49ers. ... But simply put, they think that he needs time on the bench to clear his head, get himself straight so that he understands what the offense is trying to do and what he can do to make it work.

GM Trent Baalke absolutely and clearly has to be fired, the sooner the better.
- It has to be done at this point. Trent Baalke has been the chief engineer/physicist in designing this nuclear bomb of a roster that just exploded this season. Jim Harbaugh was the rogue mad-scientist trying to salvage what he could but now that he's gone, there are no more excuses as to why this roster has been completely horrible other than holding Baalke "accountable".
-The most popular subject of post-game conversation with coach Jimmy-T after the Rams loss was not having RB Jarryd Hayne, since the 49ers released him earlier in the week. Already declaring starter Carlos Hyde out for the weekend (and next few weeks most likely), the 49ers rolled with the trio of Reggie Bush, Mike Davis and Kendall Gaskins. Reggie Bush got the start but tore his ACL within minutes of the 1st quarter, thus fulfilling his NFL career as an injury-prone bust and a waste of a free agent signing by Baalke. Mike Davis went down with a hand-injury a quarter later, leaving the 49ers with Gaskins as the only half-back available. If you take away Kaep's 28 rushing yards, the running backs combined for 10 yards. Not having Hayne was an Australian-size hole on Sunday. Releasing a talented RB before the weekend your top running back is out, is monumentally stupid.
Baalke's notable draft picks since 2010

-A.J. Jenkins: Colossal WR bust, picked before Alshon Jeffery and T.Y. Hilton. Free Agent
-LaMichael James: Duck-bust, Free Agent
-Tank Carradine: drafted as a guy they knew they would redshirt in 2013 because of a torn ACL
-Vance McDonald: Traded up for him in the 2nd round, has less than 20 catches
-Carlos Hyde: Jury is still out, but potential is there
-Quitton Patton: Mediocre and barely apart of the offense

-Kenneth Acker: Starting CB, 49ers are ranked 29th in Passing Defense for 2015
-Dontae Johnson: Starting CB, 49ers are ranked 29th in Passing Defense for 2015

That list says it all. Trent Baalke has done a pitiful job of drafting talent for this football team. Baalke CANNOT be allowed to draft players for this team in 2016, especially if they are going to be at the top of rounds. The picks Baalke would make will breathe life into the infectious disease he himself created. Get him out, now, please.
