There is no shock or surprise in the post, just a cataclysmic amount of disappointment. Just when you thought the Niners had some decent momentum heading into the end of the season, they lose in horrendous fashion to one of the worst franchises in all of football. Jimmy-T seems hell-bent in both being mediocre enough to keep his job one week and then being on the chopping block the following week. Normal franchises would have already done some heavy firing by now because you know, they care about winning, but the 49ers aren't a normal franchise, are they? We raise Super bowl banners and don't lose to the shitty Browns. We did however, and now that 49ers are destined to the bottom feeders of the NFL. The Browns had the 49ers number all game and it's now apparent that the 49ers have stolen their torch of worst franchise in the NFL. Let's see how Jimmy-T answers a basic question following the loss to the Browns (who haven't won in December since 2012)(you read that correctly, 2012):
Jim, how was the effort today?
“The effort was…I mean, the effort…the guys come out, the guys were…I mean, you see the guys getting in position. I didn’t believe it was an effort problem. I believe it was an execution problem.”

Huh? ¿Que? Anybody home?
Jim! You just lost to one of the worst franchises in the NFL over the past 20+ seasons where your team gave up 9 sacks and surrendered 223 rushing yards to a team ranked 30th in NFL team rushing, what happened?
-Uh..the guys execute effort uh..execute. Guys gotta execute and that starts with me, that starts up top here with me. We can block guys..we line guys up to block and to make tackles and uh..it starts with execution, and that's where I can take blame for lack of execution. Starts with me, up top. Execution.

The ONE good thing we can take from this game, and there is one, is that the 49ers put on this dismal display in front of the entire York family. Being a stones-thrown away from Cleveland (the franchise this family SHOULD own, as it is a better representation), the Yorks all hopped in Denise's Chrysler Sebring and headed to the football game. What the York's saw was what the 49ers have now sunk to, one of the worst teams in all of football. The 49ers are now in the likes of the Titans, Browns, Jaguars and Lions. I'm sure the loss didn't make their champagne taste worse or make the billions weigh down there pockets less but it's nice to know that the York's Sunday wasn't a parade or celebration of how wonderful a franchise they have built. Or maybe it was? Maybe they weren't even watching the game and shoving caviar down each other's throats while talking about who's getting a new yacht/Sebring for Christmas. Normal football ownership families would be ashamed to have lost to the Browns, but this isn't a normal family. I think midway through the 3rd quarter, Denise looked up from her sangria and said, "how's that nice tattoo'd QB fella playing today?". OK, probably not but I think I've made my point about how lethargic this family has had to have become by now.
Back to football. How about that 49er offense lead by a rejuvenated Blaine Gabbert? Let's see, our top receiver was rookie TE Blake Bell, with a whopping 3 catches for 49 yards! Our top RB? Seeen Draughn with 11 carries for 43 yards. How does OC Jeep Chryst still have a job with this team? The 49ers are dead last in the NFL in total offense, have allowed 45 sacks, all but threw away their week 1 "franchise" QB and have brought the offensive back to the "Singletary" level/watch-ability. The problem is that Jed York won't pay another coordinator any decent money or bring one in that is smarter than Jimmy-T. It's an infinite loop of disastrous coaching after hiring a head-coach that was under-qualified and is being paid less than almost every coach in the SEC.
Excluding college football (because I don't really watch it), 2015 was the worst "football year" of my life, hands-down. I can't wait for it to be over soon...
