Jimmy has been a valuable member of the 49ers organization for the last nine years. We all know he is a man of high character, and his contributions on the field and in our community have always been greatly appreciated. This entire organization is proud and grateful to have worked so closely alongside Jimmy. We all wish him and his family great success in the future. -49ers Owner/CEO Jed York
Well, there's a lot that transpired yesterday, I'm not too sure where to begin when it comes to this franchise. It's been a uphill struggle all season but I for one, am just glad it's finally over.
A quick note aside from the 49er franchise, the last tailgate of the season was phenomenal. It was great to see the Flap spew negativity in person one last time before he commits to Stanford football. We all scarfed meat and 40's, and the tequila was a flowing, succulent nectar of the Mexican gods. I'll miss the tailgate till we can do it all again, if and when that may be..
Now back to business. I don't want to blog too much about the 49ers because I'll be ready to fire out a more detailed blog after Jed York addresses the media today at 1030am. Probably will be working during the presser but you'll be getting a full recap this afternoon. Let's talk coach Tomsula before I sharpen my swords in anticipation of what Jed has to say later this morning.

Heard a lot of the violins playing yesterday for poor Jim Tomsula and it was sickening. Jimmy was dealt a bad hand! The players love Jimmy! Stop right there. DO NOT FEEL BAD FOR JIM TOMSULA. Here's why.
1. Jimmy got 2 million dollars to coach the 49ers this year: I don't care if he is one of the lowest paid coaches in all of the NFL, that's two million dollars I don't have and that's a shit-ton of money for less than 10 months of work. Not sure if he will continue to be paid or whatever because they fired him but bottom line is, don't feel bad for millionaires.
2. Jimmy WANTED this job: Nobody bullied good ol' Jimmy into taking this job, he legitimately pursued it and won over the front office into hiring him as head coach. Don't pursue a job that is leaps and bounds out of your own qualifications and expect sympathy when you do the job terribly.
3. Jimmy wasn't a good head coach: The record and season statistics speak for themselves. Pretty simple, Jimmy was not fit to be an NFL head coach.
4. Jimmy was a willing puppet/representative for Jed York/Trent Baalke: When 49ers fans/media demanded answers this year, we got incoherent nonsense from Tomsula when what we really wanted was Jed/Trent to be held "accountable" for this football team's performance. Tomsula voluntarily chose to be the punching bag of this team, sparing precious Jed and Funkhauser (Baalke) the necessary beatings/lashings they clearly deserve.

So long Jimmy! More 49er news to come later...
