I LIKE this signing. The Shark is another big, strong right-hander to throw at teams right after they are done dealing with Bummy-G. Reasonable deal at 5 years/90 million, they had to over-pay just a tad but so does every team in the early parts of Free Agency. The Shark's record last season wasn't anything to be happy about (11-13 with a 4.96 ERA) but now the former All-Star is moving into a more pitcher-friendly park, has one of the best pitching coach/manager duo in the MLB and championship teammates. 16-9, 3.56 ERA and a world series ring for the even year!
The Shark also isn't afraid to start some shit which is EXACTLY what the Giants need. They needed another bully to back up Bummy-G and not be afraid to throw at a Dodger. The Dodgers are now trending down and hopefully continue to do so. The Giants hopefully can grab a Jason Hayward or sign someone from over the Pacific to fill out their rotation. The 2016 Giants...
