So I was trying to think if we are having a worse off season in 2016 than we did in 2015 and it's a real toss-up. I might have to now give the edge to 2016 because the 49ers really are baffling everyone almost every single day. They did the same thing in 2015 but those who don't understand and are stupidly blinded to history, are doomed to repeat it and be affected by it. The 49ers clearly have no understanding of what led them to 5 wins last season and have continued to plummet themselves to bottom. Most importantly, the worst is still yet to come.
This isn't necessarily an Ian Williams problem , it's of course, a Baalke problem. Giving a DT a 5-year, 27.5 million dollar extension, then watching him fail a physical and put his status for the season opener in jeopardy after undergoing surgery just screams of Baalke's idiocy. I know, I know, this was unpredictable, football players get hurt and you have to make adjustments. But is it really THAT unpredictable? Is it so surprising anymore when Baalke's decisions back-fire in terrible and/or embarrassing fashion? How about a live-look at the Seahawks front-office when they see 49er news..

Now there's news on the non-football side, the 49ers owe the city of Santa Clara over 4 million dollars in rent. I read the article above and it's riddled with politics and contracts but the point I took away is that the 49ers are once again trying to pinch some pennies. The mayor of Santa Clara that helped get Levi's built is no longer in office, and the new mayor doesn't play with the 49ers bullshit. The list of folks who don't like or are angry at the 49ers grows bigger and bigger every day. Jed York has begun his transformation into becoming Mr. Burns.
Stay tuned for more 49er terrible off-season news to come! We haven't even discussed Colin Kaepernick or had the NFL draft yet, so much more is on its way! Don't be afraid of the Dark-Side my fellow 49er fans, we welcome you with open arms. Let your anger keep you as a fan, not your joy.
