In the Game of the Week, Gunshow ended the regular season on a high note and put the beat down on El Mijo to send him into fifth place. Antonio Brown's big night keyed the victory with 37 points. Meanwhile, El Mijo picked up Blake Bortles this week for him to get 36 points... on his bench. That's five straight wins now heading into the playoffs. Speaking of five game win streaks, Seeen picked up his fifth W in a row over Perry and moved into fourth place. Duck alum Marcus Mariota lead Seeen's squad with 39 points. In other games, Rogo locked up his second seed and first round playoff bye by cruising to a win over last placed PP. All but one player for Rogo scored double digit points, lead by Javorius Allen (sounds like a Key & Peele name to me). Uncle Todd defeated The Flap by 36 to maintain his third place position. Flap got a goose egg from Stevie Johnson while Uncle Todd got decent days from most of his players. Finally, D's finally broke the streak and moved out of the cellar by beating Vinny. D's was lead by 41 from Cam, while Vinny toted the leading scorer on the week Allen Robinson with 47.
And with that, here's a look at how the standings ended up and the playoff bracket stands.

The only two games this week are Seeen vs El Mijo and Uncle Todd vs Vinny. El Mijo and Uncle Todd look to avenge their early playoff exits from last season. Gunshow and Rogo are 1-2 respectively for the second season in a row, and Rogo is the second seed for the third straight season.

Now that the Regular Season is over, why not acknowledge a couple individuals for their regular season accomplishments and performances. Without further ado, here are your Regular Season Awards:
The Brody "Worst Record" Award: PP (3-10) The Clase Azul "Best Record" Award": Gunshow (10-3) The Fitzy "Biggest Draft Pick Bust" Award: Eddie Lacy by The Flap (Round 1, Pick 3) The John Meehl "Keep Fishing" Award: Uncle Todd's Defense Weeks 10-13 League MVP: Tom Brady, Team PP (320 points, 35 more than the second best player) The Colin Kaepernick "Worst Start" Award: The Flap for starting the man himself, Kaepernick, Week 3 (4 points) The "Worst Sit" Award: El Mijo for sitting Lamar Miller Week 8 (league-high 46 points, lost by 42) Best Team Name: Could go many different directions here. The Commish! has been going three years strong, Seeen always has relevant names. Rogo has the wittiest name and Perry has the name of the old league name. But I think I have to give this award to El Mijo with Hold Me Accountable. |
That's all I got, let me know if I missed anything. Congrats to all on finishing the regular season and best of luck in the playoffs.
