Back to back shutouts by the boys. Other than the 1 big play we gave up they couldn't move the ball. We had 2 huge goal line stands, one at the end of each half to keep our perfect streak going. The second half one was due to the fact we gave them about 40 yards in penalties on the drive. Out offense was good but not great. A lot of dropped balls and the refs called back my opening play TD for an inadvertent whistle.
Thanks to our D who haven't allowed a point in back to back games, our offense is allowed to sputter a little bit, as long as its good to go by playoff time. We now officially have the top D in all of intramurals allowing a measly 5.25 points per game.

We also now have sole position of first place and as long as we don't forfeit next week we'll make playoffs then the real season begins.
We can't relax though because come playoff time the competition ramps and I've been in the boat before where we run over everybody in league play then enter the playoffs and lay an egg. Not this year, not as a senior. I want to play at Autzen for the championship.
