As if Sunday's performance was not evidence enough that our $18 million/year franchise quarterback is about as valuable to this franchise as the dynamic Balke/York duo, his abysmal 67 passing yards with 4 interceptions on Sunday said it all.
After all... he did warn us "#7tormscoming"

In an interview on Wednesday about coach, Jim Tomsula, Kaepernick stated that , "...the biggest thing is I'm being asked to be myself this year, and I don't think anyone knows how to be myself better than me. So it's a comfort zone for me. It's a situation where I'm not being asked to do things outside of my character."
If completing passes to players on his own team is "outside of his character", no wonder he feels more comfortable now that coach Harbaugh is gone. Under Tomsula, you can throw 2 pick 6s in the first quarter, and still get to trot back out onto the field. Tomsula will even take 100% of the blame, which brings me to Brent's favorite topic:

(of a person, organization, or institution) required or expected to justify actions or decisions; responsible.
Who is to hold Kaepernick accountable for his performance on Sunday? Tomsula? Who is to hold Tomsula accountable for clearly over-simplifying the offensive game plan so both he, and a 5th year starting quarterback could understand it? York/Balke? And who is supposed to hold them accountable for their decisions to sign Kaepernick into a multi-year deal with no back up quarterback in mind, and to fire the only head coach that seemed to keep anybody in this organization accountable??? Oh... that's right... we are.
Can someone please arrange a meeting between York and The Faithful so we can hold him personally accountable like he asked us to? That'd be great... thanks!
By the way... Has anyone else noticed Tomsula is constantly sweating? I wonder if he is straining himself trying to read the game plan... He can read... right?
