And then there were 2. Last night Billy "Dick Face" Beane traded away Covelli "Coco" Crisp to the Cleveland Indians for a minor league pitcher and cash. This leaves only Sonny Gray and Stephen Vogt as the only two remaining players from the 2014 MLB First Half Champions and the worst ever second half record of any team to make the playoffs.
As an A's fan this absolutely suck but if I was Coco, I couldn't be happier. A week after it was released that Coco was being benched because if he reached 130 games played he would receive a $17 million dollar option. As of last week he was at 93 and not being played. Yeah his numbers have been pretty poor this year but Hey Billy...newsflash what do expect from a 36 year speedster with an average arm and even more average bat. Luckily Coco got traded to the Indians where in his waning moments in the MLB he'll get to enjoy some more playoff baseball.
